1 Preface

This book serves as an introduction to public finance and budgeting. At the end of each chapter, there are exercises to practice the concepts covered. The final chapter provides case studies that require more in-depth analysis than the exercises. One of the advantages of publishing this book on GitHub is that it is continuously updated. The chapters also include YouTube videos from the channel titled Economics, Statistics, and Public Finance, with links to specific videos embedded in the respective chapters. Additionally, there are formatting instructions for homework assignments and case studies.
